ABORTION ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE

In two Biblical instances where the act of abortion is referred to, both teach this to be the "killing" of a human person, where the womb is then described as the child's "grave" (Jer. 20:17-18, Job 10:18-19).

For the term "pregnancy," the Scripture uses the phrase "with child," and the word used for "child" is the same word used both before and after birth, and this is true in both the old and new testaments.

Approximately 40 times the Bible refers to the beginning of personhood and human life as taking place at CONCEPTION! Not Birth!

Those in the womb are described as being able to feel emotion (Lk.1:44), struggling (Gen.25:22), and responding to others (Lk.1:41, 44).

Spiritually, the child in the womb is known by Yahweh (Jer.1:5), can be called to the ministry (Gal.1:15), consecrated by Yahweh for a special purpose (Jer.1:5), already possesses a moral nature (Ps:51:5; 58:3) and can even be FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT (Lk.1:15), all while yet residing IN THE MOTHER'S WOMB! Try doing all of that to a "piece of tissue."

No Scripture anywhere de-values a child in the womb as being less than a fully human living person, and no Scripture anywhere supports abortion or even the concept that death is a legitimate alternative to suffering FOR ANYONE!

EVERY CHRISTIAN'S RESPONSIBILITY

"DELIVER THOSE BEING TAKEN AWAY TO DEATH, AND THOSE STAGGERING TO SLAUGHTER - OH HOLD THEM BACK!" (Prov.24:11).

"Vindicate the WEAK and FATHERLESS; do justice to the afflicted and destitute. RESCUE the WEAK and NEEDY; DELIVER THEM OUT OF THE HAND OF THE WICKED." (Ps.82:3).

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; DEFEND the rights of the poor and NEEDY!" (Prov.31:8,9)

"This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of [Yahweh] our Father to HELP widows and orphans IN THEIR DISTRESS." (James 1:27).

He who told us to love our neighbor as our self, also said, "whatever you do to the least of these, THAT YOU DO UNTO ME," but remember that He also warned, that whatever we failed to do to the least of these, THAT WE FAILED TO DO FOR HIM! (Matt.25:40,45).

Now anyone who has heard the parable of the Good Samaritan should know better than to ask, "But Lord, who is my neighbor?" and remember it was the condemned who cried, "Lord, when did we see you?" (Matt.25:37,44).

If the church of our day ignores the sound of our "brothers blood crying out from the ground..." (Genesis 4:10) then we shall be no less guilty than the silent, passive church of Hitler's Germany when they ignored the plight of so many being led to slaughter.

If we remain silent , how can we face the unborn in eternity? What will we say to them, to the next generation, or to Yahweh? Please join in this fight for lives. There is strength in numbers, and in our Elohim. You are desperately needed. The unborn need you. Tomorrow will be too late for 4, 500 human lives.
